About This Restaurant
Both our fish market and restaurant (offering restaurant dining as well as takeout) are open! Delivery and pick-up is now available.
Our two-story fish emporium elevates the 40-year legacy of our original location in Chestnut Hill (a few door down from where we are now). Here we feature a large raw bar, open kitchen and glass-enclosed lounge. In warmer months, we retract the lounge’s glass walls and ceiling for drinking under the sun or stars. And we open our patio, overlooking Hammond Pond, for al fresco dining. Join us upstairs at our restaurant or shop our fish market on the first floor.

We customize every menu and finishing detail according to your preference. Over the years, we have accommodated as many kinds of functions as there are fish in the sea.
Fish Market
Located on the street level of our Chestnut Hill restaurant, we are a reminder to long-time Bostonians of Legal Sea Foods’ beginnings, as a fish market at 237 Hampshire Street in Inman Square.
We offer as many options as there are fish in the sea. You can order and pick up takeout from our restaurant. For those who prefer to cook, our display case features a daily catch of fillets and shellfish, including live lobster. Our fresh fish is portioned under optimal conditions in our Quality Control Center and packaged into “restaurant cuts,” the same ones you’ll find in our restaurant. We also offer chowders and other prepared foods as well as homemade sauces and dressings. Platters of shrimp cocktail and other favorites are made-to-order (24 hours notice preferred).
Indeed, while we’d love for you to dine with us, we understand if you want to put on your chef’s hat at home and make a splash with seafood from our Fish Market.
