The iconic New England-based restaurant brand reopens in Burlington with a state-of-the-art, year-round patio, upgraded design and new Sushi & Sake program
BURLINGTON, MASS. – (March 24, 2023) – Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group, the iconic New England-based dining brand with over 20 locations along the East Coast has officially reopened its doors at Burlington Mall, located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike, after a year-long major renovation. This exciting new chapter in Legal Sea Foods’ evolution showcases a “state-of-the-art,” fully enclosed, four-season patio with retractable windows and comfortable seating for over 45 guests. The reopening also debuts a new menu for the restaurant which includes the brand’s signature dishes, plus Legal’s new Sushi & Sake program.

Inside the upgraded restaurant space, guests can dine in bright, open spaces with an expansive 33-seat four-sided bar centered within ample high-top and high-booth lounge seating – accommodating over 100 guests in the bar area alone. New dining room features include plush booth seating, additional tables with patio views, and three combinable private dining spaces with the ability to accommodate over 80 seated guests. The design enhancements include all-new modern furnishings with warm, natural wood tones, bright pops of blue, and other colorful accents, creative light fixtures, and interesting textures of tile, stone, and fabric – all to create a clean, comfortable, and contemporary ambience that complements the Legal Sea Foods dining experience.
The Burlington restaurant debuts an updated menu which includes Legal’s new Sushi & Sake program featuring a carefully curated selection of sake and a variety of hand-rolled sushi, nigiri and sashimi. The program includes classics like the Lobster Tempura Roll and California Roll, plus contemporary offerings like the Caterpillar Roll, Firecracker Roll and Dragon Rolls. Notable sake includes selections from Brooklyn Kura who brings a tradition of American Craft Sake to the menu. Made in New York City, the brand has built on more than 1,000 years of Japanese brewing history, demystifying sake and making it more accessible.
Guests can also enjoy Legal’s Take Out window inside the mall corridor with local delivery, pickup, and catering offerings all available for online ordering. The brand also recently debuted its Legal Net Rewards program, allowing guests to earn points with every purchase and redeem them for rewards, a long awaited perk for Legal’s most loyal fans.
