Legal Sea Foods Returns to Boston’s Park Square Neighborhood This October

The iconic New England-based restaurant brand will open an all new Park Square location featuring a full horseshoe bar, private dining and a large sidewalk patio along the bustling Park Plaza

BOSTON, MASS. – (September 8, 2022) – Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group, the iconic New England-based restaurant brand with over 20 locations along the East Coast, will reopen their doors in Boston’s Park Square in October 2022. The restaurant returns to the area at 79 Park Plaza, at the corner of Arlington Street – in Boston’s Back Bay at The Heritage On The Garden property.

The location boasts over 7,500 square feet, featuring a large horseshoe-shaped bar, open raw bar, bright and expansive lounge and dining areas with plenty of booth seating, a 25-seat private dining room, and ample patio dining along the bustling Park Plaza – a first for Legal Sea Foods in this neighborhood.

“We are thrilled to be reopening in Boston’s iconic Park Square, an area rich in history and charm. Legal Sea Foods has deep roots in the space, and our return to this location highlights the tenacity and hard work of the brand, and the unwavering support of our guests throughout the years.” said Ann Marie Escobar, Brand President and Chief Operating Officer of Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group.

Legal Sea Foods has been a staple for seafood lovers throughout the northeast for over 70 years, opening at the Park Plaza Hotel in 1980, and quickly becoming the company’s flagship restaurant. Decades later the restaurant relocated a block away to the Motor Mart Garage building, enjoying over twenty years in the neighborhood, but ultimately closing its doors during the COVID-19 pandemic, as the lease came to its end.

“For more than seventy years, Legal Sea Foods has been a New England tradition serving the freshest seafood to residents and travelers coming to Boston. The company’s passion and pride in restaurant hospitality will be a welcome addition to The Heritage and the neighborhood,” commented Ronald M. Druker, President, The Druker Company, Ltd., owner and developer of The Heritage On The Garden.

The restaurant has begun hiring for both back-of-house and front-of-house with many opportunities still available. For more information, visit legalseafoods.com/locations/boston-park-square/ or follow along on Facebook @LegalSeaFoods, Twitter @LegalSeaFoods, or Instagram @LegalSeaFoods
